Building Hope, One Home at a Time in Guatemala

About Us

At Project Homes of Hope, our mission is to serve the people of Guatemala by building homes for those who need them most. Since 2009, our volunteer-led group—made up of people from all walks of life—has come together each year with a shared passion for giving back. No one in our foundation is paid; every volunteer donates their time and covers their own travel, lodging, transportation, and food expenses. Through various fundraising efforts and the generous support of local businesses, we raise approximately $75,000 annually to cover the costs of building 25 homes. Antonio, our in-country Director of Projects, works closely with mayors and poverty specialists to identify families in need, ensuring our efforts reach those who will benefit most. Once selected, the local municipality helps by delivering materials to the job sites, where our Guatemalan counterparts have already prepared the foundations and floors. Together, we work hand in hand to bring security, hope, and a better future to these families. In return, we are continually inspired by their resilience and gratitude, making this experience as life-changing for us as it is for them.
